This is what podcasts were made for. Listening to Michael Graziano's essay "How the light gets out" from Aeon Magazine had the chimp's brain pushing the redline this AM. How consciousness arises from the meat that we are made of is fascinating. It takes a good writer to combine evolution, neuroscience and allow for the possibility of something transcendent.
